Challenge

ADT provides residential, small, and large business electronic security, fire protection, and other related alarm monitoring services. ADT Authorized Dealer partnered with Hamilton for the first time for ISC West 2022 to show that they are not your “old school” Authorized Dealer Program. ISC West is the largest converged security trade event in the United States. This year ADT wanted to show up with a clean and trendy design, showcasing their premier and innovative services while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Their space needed to appeal to a younger generation of independent-minded and tech-savvy entrepreneurs. The goal was for ADT to convey themselves as an industry leader in a hip fashion, promoting their services and embracing conversation.

Approach

The retro yet modern and sophisticated style of California homes inspired the design, evident in the architectural shapes, neutral tones, wood flooring, and contemporary furnishings. Attendees were transported from the show floor to the comfort of their own homes. The reception area welcomed attendees and casual seating around the exhibit encouraged conversations. A pergola covered the lounge area resembling an outdoor patio creating space for ADT to conduct security product demonstrations with a larger audience. Throughout the exhibit, large graphic displays revealed the ADT Dealer story to attendees. For example, one graphic showed a person placing an ADT sign in a front lawn, demonstrating one of the steps conducted as an ADT product owner. Multiple video monitors and interactive displays provided areas for virtual product presentations. A prominent cube-shaped hanging ADT Authorized Dealer sign hovered above the structure, acting as a beacon for the exhibit.

Results

The bright lights and large hanging sign added to the unique style, generating engagement, piquing interest, and drawing attendees from the show floor. Attendees felt welcomed into the space and comfortable conversing with ADT staff. Casual discussions filled the lounge areas, and private conversations with possible leads and existing customers occurred in the conference room. The exhibit helped promote ADT’s new integration of Google into their product offerings. Overall, ADT successfully presented themselves as your nontraditional Authorized Dealer Program, resulting in substantial exhibit traffic and opportunities for in-depth discussions.
