Challenge

After a standout experience at EXHIBITORLIVE 2021, Hamilton aimed to “level up” their presence once again at EXHIBITORLIVE 2022. The objective was to leverage the same exhibit property created for EXHIBITORLIVE 2020 that was never used after the show was postponed due to the pandemic. We challenged ourselves to transform a traditional exhibit structure into an immersive experience designed to wow attendees and position Hamilton as an industry leader in innovation, creativity, and technology.

Approach

The theme was NEXT LEVEL and showcased how Hamilton can take clients’ event marketing programs to the next level, both literally and figuratively. The NEXT LEVEL theme was a nod to the gamification in the space – a digital arcade joystick game where attendees could compete to give to the next level and make the leaderboard. The top ten attendees on the leaderboard each day received a Hamilton Yeti. In addition, with the two-story structure, attendees could physically go to the next level to see a bird’s eye view of the show hall.

To transform the experience from a traditional exhibit to an immersive experience we added ten feet to the space and added a large-scale LED screen with brand messaging, as well as the joystick game. The booth played homage to 80s and 90s nostalgia, while integrating today’s digital age to display Hamilton’s core competencies throughout the booth. The sensory experience was elevated using light and sound. Pulsating programmable LED tape lined the structure and kinetic lighting danced overhead, while synthwave music reverberated throughout the space. Multiple touchscreen monitors featured a custom interactive program of Hamilton’s portfolio of work.

Results

The booth was packed throughout the event and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The unique aesthetic stood out on the show floor and drew attendees into the booth generating high interest in Hamilton and leading to comfortable, in-depth conversations with Hamilton’s employees. The audience left Hamilton’s booth with a feeling of nostalgia and awe, and eager for the opportunity to partner with Hamilton in the future. Overall, resulting in multiple high interest and high-quality leads.
