Challenge

Reimagining a Headquarters to Reflect the Impact and Future of Indiana Golf

Indiana Golf, serves as the headquarters for the Indiana Section PGA, Indiana Golf Association (IGA), Indiana Women’s Golf Association (IWGA), Indiana Golf Course Superintendents Association (IGSCA), and the Indiana Golf Foundation (IGF), relocated its longtime facility from Franklin, Indiana, to Indianapolis, Indiana. Beyond establishing a new office, Indiana Golf needed a space that could unify its multiple associations, honor decades of history, and better reflect its mission to grow the game. The challenge was to translate a legacy of plaques, trophies, and archival content into a modern destination that would elevate Indiana Golf.

Approach

A Story-Driven Environment That Brought Indiana Golf’s Legacy to Life

Indiana Golf partnered with Hamilton to reimagine its new headquarters as a fully immersive environment that brings the story of golf in Indiana to life. StudioH®, Hamilton’s creative experiential studio, led the strategic transformation of the space into an interactive Hall of Fame and experiential hub that celebrates the past while supporting the game's future.

Touchscreen-driven experiences allow visitors to explore Hall of Fame inductees, past champions, and award winners by year, category, and achievement. The modern, museum-style environment features large-scale black-and-white mural graphics that subtly embed Indiana golf’s heritage. Dedicated displays highlight Indiana golf's history and honor industry icons Pete and Alice Dye, reinforcing the facility’s role as the official home of Indiana golf. The space supports board meetings, events, and youth programming. Adjacent indoor and outdoor training areas, including simulators and clinic spaces, extend the experience beyond the walls, providing opportunities for ongoing engagement and education through the First Tee of Indiana.
